Pharmacology
Cyclic guanosine monophosphate, or cGMP, is the target of the type 5 phosphodiesterase inhibitor ardenafil (PDE5). Penile erection is a hemodynamic process that is started by the smooth muscle in the corpus cavernosum and the arterioles that are connected to it relaxing. During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide is released in the corpus cavernosum.
Dosage & Administration
Oral administration of 10 mg once daily, administered 60 minutes prior to sexual activity, is the suggested starting dose. The dosage may be lowered to 5 mg or raised to a maximum of 20 mg depending on effectiveness and side effects. The highest suggested dose frequency is once a day. One medicine that can be taken with or without food is vardenafil.
Interaction of Valenty 10
By reducing blood pressure, vardenafil can amplify the effects of antihypertensive medications. In clinical trials, single doses of Vardenafil 20 mg decreased blood pressure by 7 mmHg at the systolic and 8 mmHg at the diastolic levels. Caution is recommended when used with other vasodilators, such as alpha-blockers. The hypotensive impact of alcohol is unaffected by vardenafil.
Contraindications
Because Vardenafil can amplify the hypotensive impact of nitrates, it is not recommended to take Vardenafil with nitrates (regularly or sporadically) or nitric oxide donors. Additionally, patients who have demonstrated hypersensitivity to any of the chemicals in this medicine, including vardenafil, are recommended not to use it.
Side Effects of Valenty 10
Headache, flushing, stuffy or runny nose, indigestion, upset stomach, dizziness, or back pain are the most common side effects of Vardenafil.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Vardenafil is not recommended for females.
Precautions & Warnings
Physicians should take into account their patients' cardiovascular state because sexual activity carries a certain amount of cardiac risk. Men who are unable to have intercourse because of an underlying cardiovascular problem shouldn't take vardenafil.
