D-Cap 20000 IU
Indications:
D-CAP 20000 Capsule is used to prevent and treat vitamin D3 insufficiency. It is indicated for:
- Vitamin D3 Deficiency: Effective for individuals with low levels of vitamin D3, including cases associated with osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and other related conditions.
- Osteoporosis Management: Supplementary treatment for various types of osteoporosis, including postmenopausal, senile, juvenile, and drug-induced osteoporosis.
- Additional Uses: Supports calcium absorption, aids in managing type 2 diabetes, enhances immune function, reduces the risk of certain cancers (breast, colorectal), and improves overall lung function.
Pharmacology:
D-CAP 20000 Capsule contains Colecalciferol (Vitamin D3), which plays a crucial role in calcium and phosphorus absorption and reabsorption. Vitamin D3 is essential for maintaining bone health, supporting optimal growth, and preventing bone density loss. It also helps manage insulin levels in type 2 diabetes and offers potential benefits in reducing the severity of bacterial infections and lowering cancer risks.
