An integral part of the clutch system on heavy-duty trucks is the clutch servo, a pneumatically assisted clutch actuator. having the ability to use pressurised air from the car's system to "amplify" the clutch pedal power when the clutch is disengaging. The clutch master cylinder provides hydraulic control to the clutch servo, which uses a lever system to mechanically activate the clutch.
