Actuated valve
With their cast iron body, 316 S.S. disc, and EPDM seat, the BFL series of lugged butterfly valves (table E standard) are well-suited to a variety of general water and industrial applications. One of two superior anodized aluminum double-acting pneumatic actuators (rack and pinion design) powers them. The unusual bonded cartridge design of the valve offers it a longer life lifetime, permits the vacuum to be fed through it, and makes it replaceable if ever the need should arise.
The quarter-turn conventional switch-type pneumatic actuator for flow valves has a small form factor, requires less room for installation, and operates steadily and sensitively.
